Is your benefit plan best of class? Are you doing everything possible to control
your costs?

Find out by answering these ten simple questions:

1. Do you understand every factor that is driving your health plan costs (pooling
points, trend factors, blend to manuals, Rx efficacy, catastrophic claim trend,
brokerage fees, administrative fees)?

2. Do you have an actively managed plan that targets disease within your
population?

3. Do you have a plan that educates employees on how their lifestyle choices can
impact their feeling of well being, as well as the cost of their health plan? Do you
have reporting that illustrates how lifestyles are affecting your plan costs?

4. Do you enroll participants without paper?

5. Can you produce reports that show enrollment trends over the past few years
directly from your own system?

6. Do you have an education plan for your employees to better understand cost

7. Do you file Form 5500 on your plans annually if you have more than 100
participants?

8. Do you have a wrap plan document that protects you should you decide to limit

9. Do you see your broker/consultant more than once or twice per year?
